of the grounds
Members
are welcome to use the club grounds to exercise their own dogs and to
meet up with their friends (and their dog's friends) at various times
throughout the week. Members may also bring their dogs in for a
run with the Day Care dogs. During Day Care on Fridays is open house, and anyone with a well socialised dog is welcome. However, because this is officially little dog day (and this could mean little or gentle on the inside), dogs must be okay to run with small dogs. Dogs with a high prey drive that run over or intimidate little dogs may be restricted to Tuesdays. Tuesdays has a mix of small and large dogs and you may bring your dog in on that day. It is recommended that small dogs, especially if unsure or shy, have experienced a Friday first, as it can be a little overwhelming at first.
We are currently restricting Thursdays to Day Care dogs only. The dogs on Thursday are very rough and tumble, highly excitable and “full on”. New dogs coming in during the day places too much excitement and stress on the dogs and causes disruption. If you do need to come on a Thursday, please telephone first to discuss this option with us.
Free running and socialisation with dogs and their owners is also available during the 3C's social group (follow link in left hand column).
Outside of day care and training times, your dog may have free running and exercise at the club. To summarise, the free running times are:
